Favour the left of the fairway on your drive and let the natural slope feed your ball to the center. Calculate the distance to the left bunker from the tee and play short of it. On your approach, avoid going right or long.

Try to get as far up the fairway as possible with your tee shot, this is a long and challenging Par 4. Keep the ball low and let it run through the narrow funnel to the green for your approach. If going the aerial route, favour the right as there is a bail out zone to the middle-right of the green.

Take aim at a point in the distance, for most the big pile of rocks is a good line, and don’t be distracted by the intimidating landscape and shape of the hole. Be aware that the fairway slopes left to right and will feed your ball towards the green. For your approach, let the prevailing left to right wind drift your ball onto the green. There is bail out space short or long but not left or right of the green.

Keep your ball low into the prevailing wind and favour a short rather than a long shot on this hole. There is run off left and right of the green, an accurate shot is required as a miss leaves you with a difficult chip or bunker shot.

Your ball will fly further than normal from this elevated tee shot. Favour the right side of the fairway on all shots being careful to avoid the fairway bunkers.

A perfect risk and reward hole. Laying up mid-fairway normally means an easy par. You can go for the green from the tee but beware of the bunkers left and right as the fairway narrows toward the green.

You need to fly the water all the way to the green. There is space long and left of the green so don’t be afraid to hit an extra club with the prevailing wind into you.

Longer hitters can favour the right fairway and go for the green in two. Shorter hitters should go left, lay up left with your second and aim to get your third onto the green. Avoid the blow out bunker short of the green and favour the right on your approach as any ball hit left will find itself in the greenside ravine.

The key from the tee is to avoid the left pot bunker, going into this bunker almost certainly means a dropped shot. This hole plays long but is manageable with two good shots. Avoid going long with your approach as the pitch or chip from the front of the green is easier.

A good tee shot finishing just short of the left bunker or right mound is required. Don’t play too safe from the tee as this leaves a long approach. There is a mid-green mound that slopes away from you toward the back of the green. Try to bounce your approach short or at the front of the green to avoid a nasty kick off this mound.

This Par 3 is all about club selection. As it plays into the prevailing wind, an extra club is usually required. Try to get your ball onto the correct plateau here, as hitting it to the wrong part of this green will often result in a 3-putt. The green has larger undulations than one thinks; take some time to read the green and analyse the slope before your putt.

This split fairway Par 5 allows multiple scenarios to play out. Go straight and you can reach the green in two; play to the right and you can safely navigate your way to the green in regulation. It is possible for longer hitters to play out of the waste bunker and go for the green, but this is risky. This hole is all about tee shot placement and avoiding the ravine on the right.

A beautiful risk reward Par 4. It is almost always worth going for the green from the tee. If you miss, an up and down is still possible. Favour the left side of the hole from the tee to avoid the ravine and be careful to place your approach on the correct side of the green to avoid the internal bunker on the green.

This can be a challenging Par 3 but there is some respite for shots missed left or right as the slopes will feed the ball back to the green. The green slopes upward from front to back so a putt being played from short of the hole requires a firmer stroke and vice versa.

This lengthy Par 5 will normally require 3 solid shots. Use careful shot distance planning to avoid the grassy mounds and bunkers that protect the fairway.

This challenging Par 4 requires two good shots to get onto the green in regulation. Avoiding the left bunker from the tee is key. Remember you can ground you club in the waste bunkers surrounding this green but be careful the sand is firm.

The slopes surrounding the green will feed the ball back onto the putting surface in most circumstances. Let the wind move your ball from the tee and enjoy the beauty of this magnificent links hole.

You can reach this Par 5 green in two if you play left but this is risky. The percentage play is to aim straight and use this wide fairway for your tee shot and approach. Your approach will often be into the prevailing wind so take an extra club. Take some time to analyse your putt on this undulating green.
